Dear friends,
Our 2024-25 season is in full swing, and we’ve had an unforgettable first few weeks of fall with some magnetic and inspiring opportunities. At the end of September, DreamWorks’ latest film, The Wild Robot, opened in theaters, and we’re offering a behind-the-scenes look at our work on this project. This clip captures the energy of our collaboration and brings us right back to that exhilarating weekend. The Wild Robot is still playing in theaters around the world and is also available for digital purchase on a variety of platforms. It’s truly an outstanding film you won’t want to miss!
Our first trip of the season took us to Wabash College in Crawfordsville, Indiana, where we performed Seven Pillars for the 37th time since its 2021 premiere. Beyond the performance, we had the chance to work with Wabash students—a rewarding experience that we always cherish. There’s nothing quite like collaborating with young creators, and we couldn’t imagine a better way to launch our season than as visiting artists at Wabash.

The end of September also marked our very first teaching visit to the Peabody Institute of The Johns Hopkins University, where we worked with the next generation of incredible musicians. We’re honored to begin this new chapter with Peabody and look forward to returning throughout the year.
Earlier in October, we embarked on a long journey to Beijing, where we performed Seven Pillars at the 27th annual Beijing Music Festival on October 11th. This was our first time performing Seven Pillars in Asia, and we were thrilled to share our music with new audiences—and of course, enjoy some incredible food!

After returning to the U.S., we quickly repacked and headed to Boston to join our talented friends at Gandini Juggling for a one-of-a-kind concert on October 18th and 19th. This unique performance, blending live music and juggling, took place at the Institute of Contemporary Art and marked an exciting step forward in what we hope will be a long and inspiring creative partnership.
Tonight, we’ll wrap up October with a performance at Trinity Church in New York City, a place that feels like a home away from home for us. We’ll give the NY premiere of a special new work by Gabriel Kahane alongside our friends in NOVUS.
There’s still more to come this season, and we’re looking forward to meeting new faces in new places. Check out our season flier below to see when we’ll be in your area!
As always, thank you for your support,
Ian, Jonny, Terry, and Victor
