Joined by esteemed pianists Matthew Aucoin and Conor Hanick, Sandbox Percussion performs an original arrangement of Simeon ten Holt’s minimalist masterpiece, Canto Ostinato, for two marimbas, two vibraphones, and two pianos. The ensemble highlights the piece’s subtle harmonic shifts and pulsing musical figures, creating a secular space for sacred experience.
