We are thrilled to announce our partnership with the drumstick and mallet company, Vic Firth. Upon kindling this relationship we’ve launched our Vic Firth artist profile. Featured on this profile page is a special performance of Jason Treuting’s Extremes. In 2012 Victor Caccese worked closely with Jason and fellow Sandbox colleagues to compile and edit a complete score for Extremes. That score is available for purchase at Good Child Music. Extremes is one of the first pieces we learned as a quartet and we are thrilled to have it featured on the Vic Firth website.
While recognizing the high quality of Vic Firth products, we also recognize the sincere relationship between the company and its artists. Employees work with a passion to create high quality products that showcase artists and their musical ambitions. A huge thank you to everyone at Vic Firth especially Neil Larivee and Scott Quade for making this possible!
On another note, we will be performing this Sunday, June 15th at the New Haven Arts and Ideas Festival as part of the weekend showcase. We’re playing some music by Steve Reich at 3:45pm on the New Haven Green Family Stage. No tickets required and the weather is supposed to be beautiful so if you’re in the area, come on by!
That’s all for now. Have a great summer and Happy Father’s Day!
Sincerely,
Ian, Jonny, Terry, Victor
